It was announced in Paris on 14 April the program of 69th Edition of Festival de Cannes from 11 to 22 May.the movie opening will be Cafè Society by Woody Allen,set in Hollywood in the 30 years.Between 20 movies in competition there will be Juste la fin du monde by Xavier Dolan(with Lèa Seydoux,Vincent Cassl and Marion Cotillard);La fille innocue by Dardenne brothers;Julieta by Pedro Amodòvar;I Daniel Blake by Ken Loach;Paterson by Jim Jarmush(with Adam Driver);Bacalaureat by Cristian Mungiu(the director of Four Moths,Three weeks,Twodays);Agassi by Park Chan-Wook(the director of Oldboy) and The Last Face of sean Penn.In competition for the Palm d or also The Salesman by iranian Asghar Farhadi and,between midnight screenings ,Blood Father by Jean-Francois Richet with Mel Gibson .Among the movies out of competition,in addition to Cafè Society by Woody Allen,also
The Bgf by Steven Spielberg,producted by Disney and inspired to a romance of Roald Dahl,Money Monster by Jodie Foster(with Julia Roberts and George Clooney) and The nice guys by Shane Black(with Ryan Gosling and Matt Bomer).In the section Un certain regard will be the Iranian drama Inversion;La Danseuse by Stèphanie Di Giusto;Apprentice by Boo Junfeng and Pericle il nero by Stefano Mordini.
President of the jury will be the australian director George Miller,author of Mad Max:Fury Road.
